Sorry about that Bill, I guess I was a little stubborn, hehe
I'm young, and you should know this. Most teenagers try to be right when it comes to losing an argument.
I was just telling what the guy at the pro shop said.

Sam, I accept stubborn. I don't accept what your pro shop guy said. If he really said your ball was fighting the oil when you hit first arrow (most THS are mostly dry from the 10/second arrow to the gutter as are the backends) so it couldn't come back, he is in the wrong business and I personally nominate him as one of the biggest morons to work in a pro shop. I also have trouble accepting that after all the time you've been here and all you SHOULD have learned, that you didn't think for yourself and realize that what he said just wasn't logical. You have been on thread after thread where it was discussed when a high performance, heavy oil or medium-heavy oil ball was used on a dry lane it would use too much energy getting down the lane and not have enough left to power through the hook and roll phases. You could have shown everyone what a moron this person was if you would have gone to a medium or medium-dry ball and threw that same line. Then you could of asked him how the "weaker" ball managed to fight that oil to crush the pocket. Given how stupid this pro was, I'm guessing your friend is correct and your ball was drilled for a right hander.

It goes back to an old saying I learned when I was 12. "If you can't dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with bullsh!t"

I was taught " Better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt"!

John, I heard that one also but have always had trouble backing down. I learned my saying after hearing a salesman with my boss. My boss was a nice, quiet man with amazing ethics. When the salesman left he said to watch out for people like that, that they live by a different philosophy, the "If you can't dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with bullsh!t' philosophy. It was the only time I heard that man cuss and it always stuck with me.
