Default How do you know if your ball has been drilled right?

Apparently, some of my friends at the alley, one who has over 30 years of experience, pointed out that my ball might be drilled wrong. He said it was drilled for a right hand, when i'm a left.
I don't want to go back to where I got it drilled without information to back up my statement if it's true.

A far as layouts typically a right handed ball would look similar to this:

With the pin cg mb towards the right side of the grip.

A left handed ball would be a mirror image, With the pin cg mb towards the left side of the ball.
post a picture of the ball and lets see it.

Yes it can just as in your picture. But your picture also has the cg and mb to the right of the grip centerline. A ball drilled for a left hander will have the cg and mb to the left of the grip centerline.

The first question is did you have the person measure your hand or did you just give him an old ball to drill from? If you just left an old ball I could possibly see a mistake being made.

Certainly it could. As I said they "Typically" would look like that. But Depending on the bowler's layout it could look like yours or you could have a MB left of the thumb hole. But for the most part the Pin,CG and MB are near or right of the centerline for a righty.

With the exception of a full roller layout.

Well if they measured your hand and then proceeded to drill it wrong, I personally would find a new pro shop. Any luck on posting a pic of the ball?
