You should include the inserts, your actual span is from the gripping edge's.
How tall you are doesn't really have bearing on your span, it's your hand size and it's flexibility.Overall it's a short span because I'm not a tall guy.
Help with what?I was thinking the power lift inserts might help with that, and give more pitch to help with that.
What type comfort problems? But I do have a little bit of comfort problems.
Yes go with Oval, Most people have oval shaped fingers not round. Ovals would give a better fit.I wonder if I should go with oval inserts?
Again Help with what?Do power lift inserts help if I'm not planning on grabbing or lifting up on the ball during the release?
Powerlifts add about 1/4 forward pitch to the fingers. If you all ready forward or reverse pitch in the holes they will change it. Also Changing pitches can increase and decrease axis tilt and axis rotation.
"Changing linear pitches can have a drastic effect on tilt, and possibly even rev rate."
"Reducing the influence of the ring finger in the release (more reverse/less forward), or increasing the influence of the middle finger (less reverse/more forward), increases tilt. Increasing the influence of the ring finger (less reverse/more forward), or reducing the influence of the middle finger (more reverse/less forward), reduces tilt."
