    Default Sanding pads

I know that the dv8 should be sanded with siaair micro pads and my ebonite mission 2.o is done with abrolan...My proshop doesnt have the siaair pads but just curious are they the same or is there really a difference

The main difference between them is Abralon uses silicon carbide as its abrasive
a very hard and brittle substance while Siaair (along with Abranet) uses a more
conventional aluminum oxide as the abrasive. The Siaair pads will do somewhere
around 20 balls where as the Abralon will do somewhere around 10 balls before
    they are worn out.

The main difference I see between them is the Siaair pads costs a lot less than the
Abralon pads and they last longer and do just as good of a job on the ball surface.
I personally will use nothing but the Siaair pads myself as I get my moneys worth
    out of them.
