There was no drinking involved in this match at all, well not until it was over. He wasn't all drunked up, and became a mean drunk. He was just a tool, sober.
Now You know Why I don't drink!! Being a retired Ironworker, I had my share of guys that thought they could whip Godzilla when they were drunk. I do not go to any sporting event that has alcohol anymore! Went to a Chiefs game many years ago with my Son, and on the way out of the stadium there was a group of 3 drunks that were upset because of the loss. They thought that my son and me might be a good way to take their frustration out on someone! MISTAKE! It really didn’t even take that long before it was all over,, less than a minute! ( at that time I was early 30’s)
It makes me sick, that anymore, going to a football game, bowling there are people that can’t handle their liquor! I don’t drink, but I don’t mind others drinking if that’s what makes them happy! It’s the ones that get violent that are the problem! Those types can destroy a perfectly great evening at any sporting event! It’s funny how we have this ( DRUG WAR), but by far the most dangerous drug of all is alcohol! It kills more people each year, than all the others combined!
And no one drinks for the taste,, regardless of what they say in my opinion. They have Near Beer, without the alcohol,,, it’s the buzzzzzzzzz,…. Be honest!! Lol My Dad had a drinking problem, maybe that’s why I don’t drink at all, and my 3 boys don’t drink either! I get my buzzzzzzz many other ways,,, family, friends, and BOWLING!!! LOL

The one thing people need to remember, you don't know the other guy's background. He may know how to fight better than you and finding that out can literally, be deadly.
The local paper ran an article a few years ago listing all the residents that served in Spec Ops so those that read it know I was a Green Beret. They don't really know what that entailed. I was changing my shirt in the rest room one night (being a mechanic I get dirty) and a guy asked my daughter about my tattoos. She said the left side was for memorials and the right side military tats. He asked for more detail. She told him, the lower one was his call sign, the upper one (skulls tearing from the skin) is a skull for each country with a confirmed kill. That dude has not joked with me since. Before that I took his trash talk as just that, joking around. He never crossed the line to where I had to warn him. We get along fine but he is more careful now. But that was a lifetime ago. I wouldn't, unless I had to, do any of the things now that I did then. Now I spend my time trying to be a better person and repent for the sins I committed as a team sargeant. Just don't mistake kindness for weakness :O

I agree, you never know who you are stepping to. You could be stepping to a guy who has had to fight his whole life for one reason or another. A guy who had knocked out countless guys who tough they were tough just cause thy are big. A guy who has sent guys to the hospital for messing with them. Or a guy who's best friend is a trained fighter, and police officer who is watching his back. You never know.
Same hold true for bowling. Don't judge someone because they don't use they're thumb, or they throw a backup ball. Just because you don't like it, or think it's funny looking, doesn't mean that person doesn't know how to bowl. This guy joined a list of 5 others who learned this lesson the hard way. Even the guy who beat me admitted I was better than he thought. He only won by 10 pins. He gave me my respect, and now he's been helping me get better. I told him I want a rematch soon, but instead we are going to team up to take money off of his other friends next week.
he's a loser, good job on taking his cash and showing him how to act with class.
I have to agree with bill, you must never assume you know who your dealing with, just because you think you could hold your own against somebody doesn't make it so, people with anger issue's can be dangerous. In the world we live in, physical state is meaningless, if you anger the wrong lunatic you could end up with a gun in your face.

Been shot a couple of times. I didn't like it.
When I was dating my current wife I told her that I have been shot. Then one day she points to one of the scars and asked, "what's that from?"
"I told you I was shot there."
"and it left a scar?" she said HERE'S YOUR SIGN
"umm, yeah" I said surprised at how naive she was

TONIGHT WE BOWL! DV8 DAMN GOOD BOWLING
I consider myself lucky that in all my years I've never been shot of stabbed. I've been in too many fights in my life, in bars, clubs, the streets. When I turned 30 last year, I made a vow to myself that my fighting days are behind me. I have not been in a fight since then. Guys like this test my patience, and my dedication to my vow. It's like you guys saif, you never know who is going to pull a gun, or knife. About the worst I experienced was a few years ago. I got into a fight ay a bar near my house. The guy I fought was nothing, and he left a little bloody. He knew me a little, and knew I would be at the same bar the next day. Well, he showed up with two of his boys looking for a little payback. Thankfully, I had two of my boys with me, and they knew these guys that were coming after me. They managed to talk them out of there intentions. Never saw that guy again.
