I recently saw a tape of Paul Rodgers fronting the remaining members of the band Queen at an outdoor concert in Russia with 300,000 people. It was sweet!

Paul Rodgers has an awesome voice. However, there should be no Queen without Freddy. It just doesn't sound right. Top 3 frontman of all-time along with Bono and Jagger.

Not hard to leave him out of the Top 3! He was only alive 'til 27. Doesn't have the body of work. But I feel ya!

Mr. Mayor, on the subject of "body of work" and dying at a young age, Who do we know that had 3 years of public work and died at the age of 33 and is number ONE on the list of greatest men to ever live? It's not the quantity of work, it's the quality and timelessness of the work!

I hope you didn't just compare Jesus and Jim Morrison lol. I'm not a fan of the Doors, so he wouldn't be up there for me. Personally a little to groovy for my tastes. I'll take Van over Jim.

    Greatest frontmen:
    1/2/3. Mercury, Jagger, Bono
    4. Bowie
    5. Stipe
    6. Sting
    7. Thom Yorke
    8. Cobain
    9. Dave Grohl
    10. Jim Morrison

Bono lost me when he took his band political...went downhill after that great video when they played outdoors in the fog at night. One thing I do like about U2 is that they just bought my MSU Spartans a brand new football field. They paid a quarter million bucks to replace the turf they tore up during their concert there last month...65,000 people. Guess it was just chump change for them!
