Thread: What type of music do you like?

Wow!! That is interesting!! ...I agree about the political thing, I think that is what happened to the Beatles. I gather that from listening to John talk about political stuff, ...and I was sad to hear him say that he did not want to still be singing songs at age 30 that he sang at age 25, The songs they sang in there early ages is what made them popular, and yet they seem to lose there way, and get too serious instead of keeping it fun.

After that, they then normally fall apart, who ever it is, always the same result it seems. Those who keep it fun and keep it about the music, are the ones who seem to last forever...even when the music labels drop them, they still keep on playing in concerts, and fans still love them.

I agree. Classic rock bands haven't had a hit record in decades, yet fill venues and make the fans happy still. I don't know if creativity fades as one ages, or if the feelings you have when you are younger translate into better music than the feelings you have as you get older...

Then you see bands like the Stones who have stayed together almost 50 years, compared to the Beatles, who lasted a decade. What was the difference inside the bands? Or was it purely a Yoko Ono thing? LOL
