Greeting from Iowa!
Hello everybody! Looks like a found a new home to post in. I used to post under a different user name a few years ago on another site but got away from it. I went back there for the first time in years and the place was a ghost town. Anyway, I'm here now and that's all that matters. Been bowling for about 10 years now. I have bowled in a handful of different places around central Iowa. With the birth of my first child back in July, I only bowl one league this year where I used to bowl two or three in previous years. Currently I bowl at Totem Bowl in Marshalltown, IA. I have also bowled leagues at Plaza Lanes and Val Lanes in Des Moines, and Perfect Games and 20th Century (RIP) in Ames. I also bowl in the Iowa State Tourny each year and I go out to Nationals every few years. I'm a decent bowler, and continually get better each year that goes by. I'm sitting at a 204 average right now but the way this year has started I think that will get to the upper 200's before the league year is up. My goal this season is to end around 207 or 208. Outside of bowling, I like to golf in the nicer weather months as well. I am an AVID Iowa Hawkeyes fan and season ticket holder for football. I'm also a Chicago Cubs fan but lately they have given me no reason to get excited.
