Default What does this stamped or engraved mark on my ball mean?

On my ball next to my ring finger is a white dot that the pro shop told me was the location of the pin. Between the ring finger and my thumb is a stamped or engraved circle that is maybe a 1/4 inch in diameter and has a punched dot in the middle of it. What does that indicate on my ball?

If it's a weird shaped circular type stamp, then it is your center of gravity.
