Default If it LOOKS, as good as it SMELLS

Looks is important! Maybe the most important thing next to smell!! If it smells as good as it looks, well,,,,, I am a easy target! No smell is ok ALSO, but with SMELL is definitely a big plus with me! The catchy phrases on the Dv8’s, are a close second to the wonderful smell that Strom balls have! How the ball Reacts on the lanes is all secondary!

I kind of did that with my Jet Black Taboo. I love Hammer's gas mask core, I always wanted to roll a Black Widow, but never did. I'd say I ended up making the choice, based on the fact, it's all black, it just matches me, because I usually wear band shirts that are black and khaki shorts when I bowl. It also has red fingertips to match the red taboo on the side. The guy who owns the bowling alley I bowl at said this when I went to pick up my ball, "Only you Will, would choose to have red fingertips in which I haven't had in stock for three years, only you." And I smiled.
In the locker: Hammer Taboo Jet Black; Brunswick Nexus (p+f); Motiv Sigma Tour
    High game/series: 290/793
League Averages: Garrick Jewelers - 225; Kingpin Mixed - 232

I WILL eliminate certain balls if they have certain colors... I know that's weird, but I think bowling is similar to golf in that it's partially a mind game! hahaha. My current strike ball is all black, my spare ball is all blue. Neither were a conscious choice in color, they just happened to be the color available for the balls I wanted. If a ball is purple, or yellow, or something like that (and no, I have nothing against LSU, just those colors....) then I don't think any performance levels would make me buy it.

I just bought a lane one droid. It's green and black. I don't care about the colors on that at all. I don't mind green, I don't mind black. I just bought the ball because of it's specs, the color didn't matter at all.
Not helping the situation since 1983.

I choose balls that have a certain look as well! Im not a big fan on solid colored balls tho or very dark colored balls. I like 'em flashy. Right now the better looking balls that I want is the Marauder Madness and the Defiant.
