As much as I love watching him bowl, Walter Ray is past his prime. The days of him lighting it up as he once did are history ;(
Rash picking him may have been the classiest move he's made in a very long time. Second to the sick kid he took under his wing a couple of seasons ago.

My favorite, Rhino Page was the number one pick. Tommy Jones is a favorite too. When truly healthy he is a beast. Hopefully the injuries the past three years are fully behind him. Dick (THB) Allen is a favorite too.

Very cool, teams look pretty cloe to even. I like Belmo's lineup. A recent player of the year in Malott, a Hall Of Famer in Bohn, two top international bowlers in Ruiz and Gomez and Dave Wodka. I like Fagans team too, with Smallwood, Scrogins and Ronnie Russell, and maybe the sleeper pick of the draft with Kelly Kulick. This should be fun. I also like the fact they didn't just pick guys from the same ball company. I understand the Summer Shootout is designed around that, what got me was the doubles tourney at the WSOB. The Mark Roth/Marshal Holman touney, were there was a draft, and it just so happened that everyone picked a guy who represented the same company.

Anybody think we can turn this into a fantasy bowling thing?

Wow, I like that idea. The only problem is the games aren't live, right?

Yeah it would be tough to do fantasy bowling as they tape so many shows off of one tournament location. Like the WSOB they shot 5 tv finals for ESPN which will be shown over 5 weeks. So seeing as it isn't as live and mainstream as football or basketball it would be nearly impossible to do. Or on the other hand cheating, as those who buy extraframe can watch players and know what happens ahead of time.

I think they shot more than 5 finals. All of the results were available online too, so if you wanted to know wo won before it aired, you could. It was hidden, until you clicked a button that said, results have not aired yet, but to view final standing click here. My chick didn't know that, and I got her to bet me throughout the season. She always though Sean Rash was going to win, and I kept betting he wouldn't. Then, the last event of the year (the one that was live) she wised up, ad didn't bet me. Too bad, she would have won.
