Default Pin Position & Top Weight

What effects do pin position and top weight have on the dynamics of the ball.

What would the difference in ball dynamics be between a pin position of 2-3" vs. 3-4"?

How about a top weight of 2-3 oz. vs. 3-4 oz.?

I assume the higher the pin position/top weight would allow for a greater hook/more aggressive layout. Just trying to understand how those differences would effect the performance of a bowling ball.

Basically with todays equipment longer pins allow you to put a balance hole in a stronger position (p3-p4) to increase the core dynamics. Unless you have huge hole sizes higher top weights can limit ypur layout options and weight hole placement due to static weight requirements
Still love the game but had to quit because of my left leg amptation
