Recently been playing World of Warcraft, Diablo 3, NBA 2k13, and League of Legends. I love PVP games, but am not a huge FPS fan....even less so when they are on consoles.
World of Warcraft geek here. Once in a while I'll crank up the emulator and play the classics like pacman, donkey kong, NARC, stuff like that.

I'm usually playing NHL 13; either against the CPU or in the GM Connected League I belong to. Picked up Madden 13 as well; hadn't played this series in a number of years.

World of Warcraft and Diablo 3 for me. I find the shooter games to be unrealistic so I go totally the other direction to fantasy! As I told someone in an email at work after they asked me what I would rather be doing than being at work(I am an IT Technician).

I am betting she doesn't understand I was only half kidding around.
I have a love-hate relationship with games. I used to be part of a start-up that wrote a couple games (just puzzle/PC download type stuff). I used to love video games but trying to make a living at writing them killed that love. I have a bunch of great game ideas, but writing them is so much friggin' work and the rewards are slim to none unless you get really lucky or write that one hit game everyone is talking about that year. We kept trying to break into the big time, even got a few very famous people to record voice-overs for us and we just couldn't get anyone on board with us enough to fund us to the point where we could actually write a game that was a commercial success. I like Rovio's stuff, I play Angry Birds and am looking forward to playing Angry Birds Star Wars this month when it comes out but other than that, meh. I'd rather go bowling than either play or write another one of those infernal things.
Another gamer here too. Not a big fan of shooters like MW3. I like Halo, will probably buy Halo 4. Don't buy a lot of games either, I use GameFly. Been playing Dishonored last week or so, it's ok, but not great. I haven't played as much lately though as practicing bowling has become my favorite way to spend an extra hour to two.
Looks like the gamers here are PC and Xbox players, no love for PS3?
Well if anyone does get COD on PS3 look me up PSN is Davec13. I also have High velocity bowling and will throw some virtual games against ya.
I'll be getting Black Ops 2 the night they release it. I love the series. I'm on 360 though...
