I hate daylight savings. It had it's place when they created it, but we have electricity now stop messing with the clocks.

How does that work for people on third shift? Do they have to work nine hours while only getting credit for eight? It's the one time a twenty-four hour shift is really twenty-five.

My nephew is a ship's engineer. He says that at sea when cross into a different time zone you either work an extra hour or an hour less depending on which direction the ship is headed.

My wife is a manager at a 24 hour retail store (won't mention names but rhymes with mal-wart ) I will have to ask her how they do it. She is salary so it doesn't matter for her. And for the record 18 month olds don't understand the concept and I decided to stay up and watch WSOB instead of sleeping the extra hour. My son decided it was time to get up wayyyy too early. Needless to say my Sunday was dragging hard.

You work the extra hour in the fall that you don't have to work in the spring. It all works itself out in the end.
