After I learned how to release a ball I realized I don't like power grips, just ovals.
I haven't seen much on here as far as what grips people use. Just wondering what people prefer. I right now have one ball with oval and one with the power oval (i think this is what they are called. oval shape with the straight edge). Anyway would like to hear what people prefer, I know it is purely self preference but would like to hear ideas on why certain people use certain things. Whatever I end up picking, I am going to have the other grips on my balls replaced with these.

I like just ovals. The 4 in ones are a waste to me because I don't like the lifts (oval with straight edge) and I don't like the ones with the bumps or grooves in them because they tend to tear up my fingers when I get into game 6+. Some people believe the lifts, bumps, and grooves creates revolutions but I really don't need anymore revolutions than what I have now.
i'm using what you described as a power oval grip, never tried other grips.... i must do this!

Tweener; PAP= 4.75 over x .75 up/Tilt 10 degrees/Axis of rotation 40 degrees/Revs = 368 and speed is 16.86 MPH average.
I used to swear by grips, I used ovals for a while and then went to vacu grips with the oval. Now I don't use grips at all. It is like taking a glove off, I feel like I can feel the ball come off my fingers so much better and whether it is true or not I feel like I have more control.

I prefer the half moon grips!

Power ovals. I've tried the lumps, bumps and chumps too. I'm trying the gel kind next round of grip changes. I'm also going to use all white grips so I can see my ball rotation easier (blind ba$tard)

I use Vise Ovals.
There was another I really liked The Turbo Mesh grips, the only thing was the mesh would wear off pretty quick.
I'd like to see someone who uses Finger Slugs.

I would like to try a few different ones but nothing here locally. How does bare (no grip) feel?
