Sometimes going up in grit and adding polish gives the "more hook" look at the end.

    Yes, that has been my

Observation in regards to my Lucid! It has too much hook, big snap at the end. I used high polish, and it snapped even more at the end on fresh oil. It’s probably because its storing up ENERGY on the way down, then having it explode the last 5 feet or so in my case! I want a more controlled steady hook, so I cleaned the ball of polish, did 500, then 2000! Will see if that makes it a nice sweet gradual arc into the pocket! That hokey puck snap can be hard to control in my case, and does not translate into high scores!
