Default Need help with a new ball...

I picked up a Ratchet today after reading good stuff about it. I had it drilled pin over the ring finger, CG kicked a little out. I have this exact same layout on my Storm Gravity Shift also, which I love. I expected the Ratchet to be more aggressive, but it goes really long and a mild back end for me. I took the polish off and brought it back down to 4000, but still not a huge difference. My gravity shift gets into a roll much sooner with a better back end. Much better.

What should I do? Sand it down more? I was expecting a much more aggressive ball.

Thanks for any help. I'm also a stroker who plays the oil track most times. My A game is down and in.

The Ratchet O.O.B. was "800 Abranet, 1000, 2000, 3000 Abralon" It wasn't polished to begin with.

Try going back to the O.O.B see how it does.

It might be that it's too dry also (A lot of times when a weaker ball is out hooking a stronger ball, it's a good sign it might be too dry for the strong ball) try moving and throw across the oil to the outside see how it reacts.

Right handed Stroker, high track ,about 13 degree axis tilt. PAP is located 5 9/16” over 1 3/4” up.Speed ave. about 14 mph at the pins. Medium rev’s.High Game 300, High series 798

I'm confused. You took polish off that it didn't come with a put a smoother surface on than it came with. Why were these changes made to begin with?
Other than pin above ring finger, CG kicked out what are the true dual angle measurements of the layout? Sounds as if the drill angle and VAL both may be too large for what reaction you're looking for.
