    How to find your PAP
    Here is a video by coach Richard Shockley on how to find your PAP.


    Right handed Stroker, high track ,about 13 degree axis tilt. PAP is located 5 9/16” over 1 3/4” up.Speed ave. about 14 mph at the pins. Medium rev’s.High Game 300, High series 798

    Knowing your PAP won't make you a more accurate bowler but it will help to lay out and drill balls to get the desired reaction. If your current ball doesn't react as you think it should, check your PAP. Changes in releases can affect it or it could be it just wasn't taken into consideration for whatever reason when it was layed out and drilled.
    Personally, once I realized my PAP was wrong I was able to make adjustments to get to the pocket once I understood why my reaction was off. It helps to know at times, that it's the ball and not necessarily the bowler.

    Bill what did you do to adjust? I think my ball was drilled off a diff PAP that what mine actually is.

    Changed my release to match the drilled PAP. I marked the drilled PAP with tape and took a practice session to find what release utilized it. My PAP being 1 3/4" different from the drilled it took awhile to find it.
