Thread: holes to close?

    Default holes to close?

I had the ball drilled with out inserts and I want to give them a try, are these holes drilled to close for inserts, I would believe the holes need to bigger to allow inserts.
    sorry, cell phone shot.

The bridge, the area between the fingers, is not suppose to be less than 1/4" for warranty purposes. I don't know why your were drilled so close together. However, going with inserts (good choice) also shortens the span so plugging and re-drilling would be suggested anyway. If you're looking to start throwing a hook, finger tip grip definitely helps.

thanks, the bridge is a lil narrower then a 1/4 but not by much, and where the holes are beveled is wide. Im thinking going inserts because towards the middle of the 2nd game my middle fingertip on the inside became a little irritated, and then sore towards then end of the 3rd game.
I do have a mean hook now, thats why I went with Misfit in hopes of taming the hook, but I did seem to struggle a bit with the ball today, couldnt fin the sweet spot on the lane and the high was 171 with 2 games much lower.

Without actually measuring that could be a 1/4" bridge, the tops of those holes are beveled and makes them look closer together.

But if you want to install inserts, they would have to be plugged and redrilled. You couldn't just drill out those holes, the bridge would be to thin.
