New ball help
Looking to get a new ball for league play. Dont have much of a hook pretty much a straight ball bowler. I use a 15-16 lbs. ball. Lanes we bowl on are for the most part medium to medium heavy oil. This will be my first new ball in years. Thanks for the help.

Tweener; PAP= 4.75 over x .75 up/Tilt 10 degrees/Axis of rotation 40 degrees/Revs = 368 and speed is 16.86 MPH average.
I like to keep it straight.

if however you would like to try and develop a hook without being overwhelmed, there are balls that stay quite straight, but are enough to find the pocket at a half decent angle:

If going straight is all you're interested in then any ball will work. Going straight the oil doesn't have any impact.
