Welcome to the site! I know your dad has been a great help to a lot of people here, including myself. There's only one other "dirty old man" I can think of off the top of my head that belongs to these boards... hahaha

Welcome to the boards Krista, your dad is a big help to all of us here. You guys have to keep those stories coming, as well as the dirty secrets.

Welcome to the boards! I always love seeing more females get involved with the game, especially this part of it. The social aspect is one of the best of any sport and finding help with a resource like this is an awesome thing. Please do recruit more and more to the boards, it would be great to see it get much bigger!

He is coaching tonight after his league so I may be able to slip this one in without him finding out.......My wedding and I wanted my dad to walk me down the aisle. No problem. Family flies in and all that. I spend the two nights in a row before the wedding going to dinner with out of state family, my dad and get this, one girlfriend the first night and the other the second night. As if that wasn't bad enough he brought both of them to the wedding. They knew about each other so at least he was honest with them. One is my best friend's mother and the secretary of our Saturday league. So here is my dad with his ex-wife and two girlfriends. He some how pulled it off and is actually now married to one of them.
He bowled againt tonight. Not sure if he said anything here but last Monday night he got a hairline fracture of the ulna bone in his right (throwing) wrist. It's about a 1/4" above where he fractured it a few years ago. This dork just puts a wrist brace on and keeps bowling. If I even thought of doing that he would lecture me until I gave in.

The first unwritten rule of coaching: Do as I say,not as I do!

I once tried to play basket ball and the next day softball with a broken thumb. In my defense, the doctor who looked at the x-ray said he thought it was only a sprain, but see an orthopedist when you get back to CT.
