Does anyone here listen to an mp3 player while bowling?

It's a great question. I used to, because it did help me concentrate, but sometimes it's hard to be social that way. And plus a few weeks ago, I was bowling in my Tuesday night league and this girl had her headphone wires out and I even called the shot..she caught the headphone wire, which took her iPod out of her jacket and sent the iPod down the lane, the iPod actually beat the ball down the lane, which the iPod made it the whole way down and I was shocked to find that it came back as it came, and it was still playing. I just always made sure my headphone wires were always under my shirt, so I never had to worry about it.

i use to bowl with my ipod i only ever had 1 ear pieace in and it was my left ear and the other ear peace was down my shirt and did decent but i did that when i had my old bowling style and now i got a new one and also im in a ybc league and we are not aloud to have are phones out or ipod's it's like being in a turnny pain in my but

i was thinking about it doing it again, but then again. I'm picky about bowling with objects in my pockets, like I'm picky about not wearing pants while bowling anymore, like me only ever bowling in shorts.

yeah i bowl in short too but since its getting close to winter and know i wear track pants but there is a thing out dont know what it is called but you can plug it into your ipod and a thing into your ear and there is no cord so your ipod could sit on the table and you can still listen to it not sure where you can get them i have seen them once.

also there is another thing that clips onto your pant and you are still able to listen to music.

Yea... its not really "legal" every tournament i've been to they have said this specifically.... idk about usbc rules, but it does seem dangerous

It's only dangerous if you make it dangerous, in my opinion. Look at the PBA guys' who wear mics on tv, that could get in the way as well.

Had a guy in my old league who did it, I'm not a fan. If your there for a social league, why be antisocial? If your practicing with a buch of kids running around, then I can understand.
