Sorry but the way I can usually get horrible shots to carry, my scores are better than I bowl.
Best 647 I have Ever Thrown...
Just got home from my Monday night league. A guy a couple lanes over threw his first ever 300. He was on the nose a couple shots but got the "cave in" kinds of strikes out of them. One strike was a cross-over.
I, on the other hand, bowled a three game series and threw two balls out of the pocket all night long. One of these resulted in a 4-6-8 split and the other resulted on a 3-9. In three games I had ONE open frame. I left three 10 pins, four 8 pins and three 9 pins and walked out with a
205, 227, 215 for a 647. Could not get a good string of strikes going because of carry and the second games could easily have been a big game, but alas - carry issues.
How many nights have you bowed much better than your score would indicate???

My 270 game tonight I had two balls in the pocket and left a pin 1st and 3rd frames. The rest was garbage and carried for strikes. It was sick. My thumb was sticking, ball too strong but I wasn't changing anything. I missed to start game three and then changed balls and thumb slug. IT's are the best!

Often.. lol my house has some of the worst pins in america the pins are probably just as heavy as the balls hitting them hahaa
Almost every day, because I don't bowl in leagues. On open bowl you may play 3 games just to know what the lane is doing, then your line breaks down after two shots and sometimes you may never find another. When I get fresh oil, I am almost certain to pick up a 600 I just have to not let it hurt my confidence when bowling on ****ty lanes.
