I don't think she'd want to wear spandex, but I could see her wearing a purple bowling shirt with her name on the back when we bowl. As for the purple hair, she does look very good with a deep burgundy color, so in a way she's already done that.

I have to say thank you all for all the advice and especially the laughs. I can't stop laughing while reading all the posts that you have posted on here. I love all the purple ideas and suggestions that were given. I think that I will go ahead and start off with the Karma Pearl and work my way up to the Misfit. I will go ahead and do the fingertip grip as well. I know that it will take a little while for me to get used to, but I believe that I will like it much better just like you all said.
I really don't think that I will get the purple jumpsuit. That makes me think of The Big Lebowski too much.I am not one to lick my bowling ball. The purple Corvette sounds great, but I like the one that my boyfriend picked out better. LOL He sure does know me to a tee.
When you get the tips, get a color that stands out. It will make seeing the rotation easier which will come in handy later when you're ready to learn how to read what the ball is doing.
