    Default Numbers 21-26 on the All-Time Greatest Bowlers List Revealed

    I am really fast not liking theses lists!!!!


    Numbers 21-26 on the All-Time Greatest Bowlers list were revealed on Sunday's telecast. Here's how the list stands to date:

    * 21: Amleto Monacelli
    Career Titles: 19
    Career Major Titles: 1
    Career Earnings: $2,097,684

    Highlights: Venezuela native was the first foreign-born player to win the PBA Player of the Year award, winning in back-to-back seasons in 1989 and ’90… Ranks sixth all time with just over $2 million and his 19 titles rank 14th all time… Won the 1989 Touring Players Championship en route to his first Player of the Year award, winning a career-best four titles that season… Won three titles the next season to earn his second honor… Harry Smith Point Leader Award winner in both 1989 and ’90 and George Young High Average Award winner in 1990… Inducted into the PBA Hall of Fame in 1997… Is the only foreign-born player in the PBA Hall of Fame.

    * 22: Mike Durbin
    Career Titles: 14
    Career Major Titles: 3
    Career Earnings: $839,520

    Highlights: The first three-time winner of the Tournament of Champions, he won the prestigious event in 1972, ’82 and ’84… Named the 1967 PBA Rookie of the Year after winning two titles… After taking time away from the Tour, Durbin returned at the age of 36 and won two titles in 1981 and two more in ’82 including his second T of C… Inducted into the PBA Hall of Fame in 1984 and went on to win his third T of C the same week he was inducted.

    * 23: Dave Husted
    Career Titles: 14
    Career Major Titles: 4
    Career Earnings: $1,621,623

    Highlights: Owns three U.S. Open titles (1982, ’95, ’96), and captured the 1985 Touring Players Championship… Is the only player to win back-to-back U.S. Open crowns since the BPAA All-Star became the U.S. Open in 1971… Won the 1986 Harry Smith Point Leader Award… Won the Steve Nagy Sportsmanship Award in 1988 and ’89… Was the ninth player to reach the $1 million mark in career earnings… Inducted into the PBA Hall of Fame in 1996.

    * 24: Jason Couch
    Career Titles: 15
    Career Major Titles: 4
    Career Earnings: $1,599,422

    Highlights: Won at least one title in six straight seasons from 1998 through 2003-04… Won three consecutive Tournament of Champions titles from 1999-2002, the only bowler to accomplish the feat… Has won multiple titles in a season five times (1993, ’95, ’99, 2005-06 and 2006-07)… Was named the 1992 PBA Rookie of the Year… The following year he captured his first title and first Major in the same season, winning the 1993 Tums Classic and ’93 Touring Players Championship.

    * 25: Steve Cook
    Career Titles: 15
    Career Major Titles: 3
    Career Earnings: $839,586

    Highlights: Won three Major titles, the 1981 Tournament of Champions, 1983 Touring Players Championship and 1986 BPAA U.S. Open… Was one of the Tour’s most imposing forces at 6’7”, 265 pounds… At just 22 years old he captured the 1979 Ford Open and never looked back… Won two titles each in 1981 and ’82 and won a career-high four titles in 1986… Inducted into the PBA Hall of Fame in 1993.

    * 26: Chris Barnes
    Career Titles: 10
    Career Major Titles: 2
    Career Earnings: $1,528,917

    Highlights: The 1998 PBA Rookie of the Year recently picked up the 2007-08 PBA Player of the Year Award to become just the third bowler ever to win both awards… Won two titles apiece in 1999 and 2007-08 and in between won single titles every season from 2001-02 until 2006-07… Won his first Major in the 62nd U.S. Open in 2005 and his second in the 2006 Tournament of Champions… Became the fastest bowler to reach $1 million in career earnings.

    I'm just joking, I don't own any flame retardant britches. That just stuck my funny bone.
