Threw (: .)EBONITE Innovate in practice today.

First game worked on a lot of spares, throwing the ball at various speeds and break points.
Converted 4/6 spares and had 4 strikes mixed in. 150 game.
Second game evened out my stroke and found the pocket most of the game; 6 strikes, two opens. 183 game.

Didn't throw a third game, however. Wanted to save my arm for tomorrow. Not subbing in Mondays Mens League, but I am pre-bowling for the Thursday Mixed League. Hoping I can keep a good pace bowling alone. Goal is to maintain 170-180 average tomorrow.

My worse night this season...213/195/138. Good thing we took 5 out of seven. I was the best bowler on our opponents' team tonight...

I entered the alley prepared to pre-bowl (as I said in my "Intro" thread) but following the 3rd frame, a couple of guys from the Monday Mens League came over and recruited me to sub for another guy, who is out with a knee issue. So, long story short, I'll throw my pre-bowling session after I bowl in the Wednesday non-sanctioned league. Here's what I shot in USBC sanctioned play tonight:

    (: .)EBONTIE Innovate 154 234 204; 592 series

Had fun playing with a different team in the Monday Mens League and got word that I'll be able to retain that role on their team for another 4 or 5 weeks, until that other guy can rehab his knee, or whatever. You'll see the updates in my signature line:

Not bowling up to snuff this week. I had a lesson with Hank Boomershine over the weekend and worked on a lot of ball reaction stuff. Subbed on two leagues and shot 608 and 579. My lowest average coming in was 213. It is kind of discouraging, but I have two more league nights and a practice session before a tournament on Sunday so I am hoping to turn it around.
