Curiosity got the best of me...I have to ask. Why did you switch balls for the 2nd game? and why not go back to the Reckles for the 3rd game?

I missed with one shot for the night and missed the spare. It was nice to be able to throw at full speed and full revs for a change. Flat patterns are my favorite.

I do the sport league to learn more about what each ball will do on what pattern. Score really is irrelevant. I almost didn't go back to the Reckless for the fourth game. I'm still curious how the Natural Pearl and Terror would have reacted.

I thought leagues had to be USBC sanctioned to use PBA in the name for the league?

    TNBA Doubles summer league

    183, 169, 153

The unbelievable part is that the last two games were the ones that I took individual match points.

If so then that's another USBC rule not followed around here. Not sure why that would have to be the case though seeing as they are two different and distinct organizations.

With the original PBAX leagues the USBC had paid the PBA for the right to advertise the leagues using the PBA name and logo. I would assume that since the two organizations have signed a new agreement, any non sanctioned league advertised as a PBA league would be open to being sued by either or both organizations.

That no one has shown up with legal papers is due to several things. The USBC is not Disney or ASCAP which send flocks of lawyers at the drop of a hat. The other is that there probably isn't enough money involved in even the most successful of sport leagues to get a lawyer to answer the phone.
