Sticking with my plan I started out shooting my old Ebonite - still has some life in it (probably another 30-40 games). Shot really good first game ending up with a 212. I was happy with it. But I had a plan and my plan was shoot the Ebonite until I felt like I was adjusting too much or it started hitting light - and somewhat because the more games I bowl the harder I throw and the Ebonite tends to skid through when I throw it too hard. So had the first 3 in the second game. 4th frame I got tapped and left the 7. So I stuck to my plan and broke out the Melee that I can throw harder and still get great pin action in the 5th frame. My team mate did not like that and it got in my head a bit. I throw a couple of errant shots missing my mark and ended up what could have been a 220-230 game with a 207. 3rd game I was totally unfocused and it really got me unhinged. I just gave up and went back to the Ebonite and ended up missing the 600 series by 9 pins. Tuesday the ball change worked out well for me so I wanted to do more of the same - I have elevated my game back to 200+ range. I feel like a big series is coming. I just need to stay more focused and do what I think is best. In 2 weeks I think I will let the Ebonite run its course a little more and just make a few extra adjustments. Depending on how it's rolling maybe it will carry me through the end of the 2nd or even into the 3rd game. I just know prior to the new balls or even considering a ball change I have been shooting 530 series so I had to make a change somewhere. And this has yielded positive results. I just need to fine tune it a bit.

Missed a 10 the first, and a 2-4-8 the third game. The second started off with big splits 3 of the first 4 frames and could not string enough strikes to get back in it. (213 current average)

Really inconsistent first two games and some bad breaks. Again rolled the First Blood 1st game and 2nd game through 5th frame then switched to the Melee.
231 - 248 - 237 = 716 Marvel pearl by Storm has pushed me beyond 220 average. That is a first for me. Tonight made my 7th 700 series in 22 bowled weeks. Another first. With 10 weeks to go I am pumped !

Tonight my chosen path didn't hook very hard in practice so I pulled the trigger and bowled my first game with the pyramid path origin. This is a down and in ball for me. Stood center lane and threw over the 11 board most of the night. 237-200-232. Most of the night it was 10 pins, strikes or big splits. If I went outside I generally paid, had 5 big splits, two of those pocket 7-10. I really can't remember a night where the only spare I had to make was 10 pins, outside of one pocket crushing 8 pin. I don't enjoy down and in as much, and haven't shot that way in a while, but a 669 for the night isn't bad. Only opens were the 5 splits.
