Thanks. Yes quite some time ago I was on "serious" teams and if you missed a spare the whole night was ruined. My average went down. I wasn't doing well. I wasn't having fun. I ended up quitting the teams I was on. From that point on I said if I am not having fun what is the point? Now I have as much fun as is legal but also try to bowl good as well - it's a great combo and when you can pull it off, i.e. win $900 for the team, it's even better. 190 - 195 - 189 = 574 Stats 16 strikes 9 spares 7 opens. Having an off night at bowling is still a lot better than many other things !

186-185-170 = 541
No love in the tournament. Just couldn't find a shot even on fresh (light) oil they laid down. Just couldn't find a rhythm.

181-200-235 = 616
Started where I left off in the tournament earlier in the day. Second game tried 3rd arrow with limited success but better overall. 3rd game went back to 2nd arrow and just ramped up the speed to 17.5-20mph and started the game with a 4 bagger. Picked up the 5-7 split in the 5th frame and was just locked in all game. Finished with a 3 bagger in the 10th after getting tapped in the 9th.
Better night on the lanes Tuesday 3/25/14 181, 207, 223 for a 611.
2 bad weeks in a row.
181-180-200 (lane broke down to the second frame of the second, threw 2 pocket 7-10's right off the bat on the new lane) Just a rough night all around.
183-213-214 (at least hit my average the last 2 games, first game missed a 10 pin, pocket 7-10, etc)
Been tweaking things, but causing me to struggle a bit. I should practice, lol.
Tuesday
198-221-206 = 625
Felt good overall - first game struggled out of the gate with open-spare-open then I finally started to do something. 2 strikes in the 10th and if I got the 3rd strike I had a 201 but I didn't. I couldn't recover from the bad start. The other team's anchor threw the first 9 and then spare strike for a 279. That didn't help our cause. Second game I used the First Blood all the way to the 6th frame and then switched to the Melee. It was smashing the pocket but I was getting tapped. Made a couple of adjustments and it was near perfect after that. 3rd game was good all the way up to the very last ball - had a 4 bagger going into the 10th, threw the first 2 and then the 3rd one straight into the gutter.

204-201-190 = 595
Disappointed in missing the 600 series. Was pretty consistent all night. Next week is league championship.
