Was on fire, but couldn't find the third game adjustment on Monday. The lanes had me starting 4 boards right of normal as they were relatively slick. Everyone else in the league struggled.

Thanks! Felt like I choked away my 700. Third game started with a 4,6,7 split. Left the 5 pin on a 2,4,5 leave. Switched balls but couldn't hit my new line well enough to string together strikes to make up for the opens.
Well I was fighting a bad hip on Tuesday, but figured out how to throw and score a little 172, 200, 205 for a 577 on Tuesday night.
Wednesday got in to see the Chiropractor and got my tweaked hip adjusted, so looking for better things next week in roll offs.
Amazingly I was terrible on spares, missed a 6, missed a couple single 10 pins, left the 5 of the 3,4,5. The lanes were very oily, which kind of through off some of my spares. But dang, strike ball was ON! Oil pushed down after the first game and tried one ball with no luck, and then after a couple balls switched again and slowed way down. First ball after slowing down crushed the pocket, ended up pulling 7 in a row. First game had 2 10 pins, xx9-xxxxxxxxx9. 3rd game was 9-xxxxx8/xxxxx (The spare was an 4-7)

Horrible night. Nothing could go right. Missed 7 pins, missed 10 pins, missed 4 pins. I was missing easy splits, single pins, etc. Couldn't find a mark. Switched balls several times. Nothing was going well.
Tuesday

Like the Terminator I was back. Needed the best series of the year for the championship roll off and I delivered. Felt super consistent and the shot was good last night. Bowled the first game with the Hammer First Blood - near the end did not like what the ball was doing. Second game started with the Brunswick Melee and after a couple of bad shots I recovered and ended up throwing back to back good games. Missed one 7 pin in the 3rd game (after doing 3 shots of lemon drops) but over all only saw the 7 pin 3 times the whole night and picked it up 2 out of 3. 99% of non strikes were 9 counts. 1st game 10th frame threw a 6 count and missed the spare. 2nd game second shot threw a 7 count. Other than that it was strike or 9 all night. Made small adjustments and they worked well.
205, 226, 196 = 627 Position round and we took just enough points to make it in as the wild card for the 3rd straight year.
Had a clean series going till 4th frame of 3rd game, slide past a 7 pin of all things, and then tugged it inside the next frame for a 4,6,7 split. 2 opens all night with 18 strikes and 15 spares, I will take it.
