Last night on the Shark, started well and faded badly 210, 180, 146 for a 536.
Next week is the open pattern, but I have to miss it.
Sunday fun league, started to lose concentration at the end. Plus I think my thumb started swelling because it was so hot! We were under one of the broken ceiling fans tonight, boo!

Tuesday Night Have-A-Ball League
I didn't bowl so good earlier in the evening 1st game way below average 2nd game
one pin under average 3rd game was a good game it was above average and the good thing about the night is I had fun
and we won two games so here are my scores 139-143-152 and 434 series without handicap.

Pretty decent night, wish I could do that in league
Tues pm league I was very happy with the way I was bowling...approach, timing, release, targeting. There is hope for the change to 5 steps. Second league to bowl with new 5-step approach and no practice other than working with coach when I changed.
I shot a 181, 212, 218 = 611 (only second 600 this summer series)
Could have been better as I still had 7 opens - 3 of which were single pins.
One of the best parts of the night was after we finished, an ex-pro bowler (1970s-1980s, who still throws an awesome ball) bowling on the team next to us told me I threw the ball exceptionally well and should have carried better than I did. He said that it could have easily been a 700 night. That coming from who it did, unsolicited, made my day/night!

Last week on the Scorpion pattern, I did well! I had a 160 average going in to this week and shot 170-209-177. I opened in the 10th frame of the 3rd game, darn you splits! That game could have easily been a 200 game.

2008 Team USA trials, 48' 203, 169, 210, 189 Tried the Natural Pearl in game two. EPIC FAIL lol. Finished the league with a 194 average. Next week is our fun night/mini tourney on the US Open
Last night on a THS 187, 179, 220 current average is 230, or was until that disaster lol

I don't know if I ran into Bob's "Dead Zone" the last game. Each team was bowling with one absentee score so there were only two of us bowling on the pair, and both of us dropped at least 40 pins in the third game. After two clean games I lost my concentration on my spare attempts and also got a bad case of fast feet on those second balls.
