Default Best Ball on dry to medium dry and drilling?

Any thoughts on best ball, and drilling for burnt up lanes during league play? All my balls are grat on good fresh oil, but into the second game and always the 3rd game they go west of head pin! I have a Terror/Lucid for oil,,,,, then the Maruader, and the Madness for medium/heavy, but really nothing for burnt up dry paths to the pocket.

Maybe a pearl ball or a urethane ball drilled with a layout for a mild hook. Then you can use different grades of Abralon pads to change the surface of the ball to hook less or polish to make the surface of the ball travel further down the lane before hooking.

I liked that movie,,,, and was thinking about the Storm natural, wondering how it would do on synthetic lanes? I thought they, urethane were good on wood?

My favorite ball for light-medium oil is the Storm Natural pearl. It gets through the front with ease, and hooks alot at the end. you could also try the tropical breeze hybrid if you want a little more backend.

remember, I get way to much hook as it is with the dry lanes (at the end of the lane)! I want a ball with less hook at the end for dry lanes. Thanks for all your advise, I will think about each and everyone of your ideas!! I might spend the 30 bucks firt and try to make a Undefeated as weak as possible, maybe talke to our local expert, Bruce at Strike/Spare

Mike, a urethane with a strong hook at the end is totally different than a high performance, heavy oil ball with a strong hook. Basically the urethane, if drilled correctly for you, will hook very similarly in the dry as your other balls do in heavy. It won't hook much, if at all, in heavy oil. You have to compare apples to apples, not apples and oranges.
