I have no idea... How can anyone tell for sure without rolling them? And how can you roll them without buying them and getting it drilled?

I seriously only bought the Droid because someone else in my league had it, and even though their span isn't quite the same as mine, I was able to throw it a couple times and I was pleased with it. Otherwise, I'd feel like I was just guessing.

Some pro shops have demo days, with demo balls you can switch out the grips and thumbs to try them out.

I was looking at that the other day on there site. looks nice. But I'm leaning towards the defiant soul.
my list is brunkwick Aura, and Defiant soul, and Dv8 nightmare.

I'd like to try the demo balls. however, i was told by my pro shop guys i would prob shatter the thumb insert cause of my revs lol. idk if that's actually true. they'll still let me demo stuff but i don't wanna risk damaging anything including my self haha.

I love my Misfit so I would agree with billf and go Zombie spare, Im not as aggressive as most bowlers here so I'd love to try a Roto Grip Shout, I think it would be a perfect ball for when the heads burn up on my local lanes.

right now one of the lanes I bowl at has the Meanstreak and Aura as Demo balls.

They don't have any drilled with a long enough span for me but I tried both.

The meanstreak went long and had sharp break. played standing 27 over the arrows at 15 out to about 5 if I missed say 13 at the arrows it would break early and hard from hitting the dry and cross the face to the brooklyn side.(my usual line with a Aulby signature series is 25 over 10)

Aura drilled Pin up (above the ring finger) I stood 38 20 at the arrows out to 8 or so and had trouble controlling the break very sharp cutting the head pin too much.
Aura Pin down (below the bridge) I stood 35 threw over 18 or so out to the 8 and it would arc back up into the pocket very nicely. if I got too much hand angle(rotation) or let my ball speed get down I would cross or go through the nose though

Would love to go to a demo day for a manufacturer.
