id go with the marauder and i am a hammer fan but i hear way to much good stuff about it
I asked for a new ball for Christmas. I am wanting something to take over for my Modern Marvel and also more for medium to light heavy oil. Right now I have Deep Purple Taboo( favorite ball), Marvel Pearl, Modern Marvel, 2 Furious, Game On (never used any more). I am torn between the JB Taboo that I have seen thrown a lot and I really like the purple Taboo but the DV8 Marauder has my attention as a hybrid ball. I am a stroker and live on 10 board and outside. Up and in is my style with medium revs and slower ball speed. I get to pick one so what one should I ink in for my wish list?

That is the boat I am in. I was set on the JBT but the buzz on the Marauder has turned my attention to it. I haven't seen it thrown personally.

but but but hes not paying for it! lol
I LOVE my marauder, its a great ball to have, I'm surprised you can play so straight with the deep purple, the marauder isn't as strong and as such won't hook quite as much. Its a great ball.
what oil conditions do you bowl on? can you keep using the taboo when the lanes break down? if so, how far left do you move?

I move at most 4 boards with my feet left and 2 with my eyes all 3 games. It all depends what condition the lanes are in from the beginning and what pattern we have. Lately for the past few weeks the oil has been really close to the edge of the 5 board and that has been eating up a lot of people with the big hooks. They can't bring it back. Me...right up the 5 board and arch it in. Been crushing it for the team and carrying us lately. If it is light oil since they didn't oil before league I get beat down with most of my balls. The Modern Marvel is what gets played then.
For medium to light heavy you would actually want the Marauder Madness. The original Marauder is a medium oil ball. Both are very good balls. I've used my Marauder on all conditions so far and it works well with a few boards of adjustment. When that thing sees friction it turns and goes.
