Are they sanctioned NCAA bowling or club sport bowling?
I have received some information from my friend who bowls at Cal State Long Beach, he said it is not illegal to bowl in an adult league. He said everyone in the Bowling team bowls at an adult league. This confuses me even more... because does that mean I am allowed or not?

Bowling in the league is one thing...what do they do about prize money?
Write the NCAA and ask.

Cal State Fullerton doesn't list bowling as a division sport. I bet it's just a club sport. Contact NCAA or check their web www.ncaa.com

That's fine. Club sports still usually require you to keep a certain GPA but have no rules against bowling for money or in a league.

Gotta love the NCAA. Did anyone see that 30 for 30 on Bo Jackson? Wow... So, he was the 2 sport wonder (baseball and football... Won the Heisman in 1985 for football, but some said he was even BETTER at baseball), and his senior year he was thinking about joining the NFL. Well, after football season was over a Tampa Bay Bucs executive wanted him to come see Tampa Bay and they were basically saying, "Hey, we're going to pick you with the first overall pick in the draft. Come see us and tell us you will sign if we pick you so we don't waste our pick." And he asked them if he COULD go see the facilities and the city or if it was a violation of NCAA rules. They said it was fine...
Well, it turns out they never checked (or they lied to him. One of the two...). So when Bo came back to Auburn, baseball season was still going on and they still had 10 games left or something like that. The manager takes him to the side and says, "Bo, did you go on that flight and go see Tampa Bay?" He admitted he did. Turns out that plane ride was all it took to disqualify him from NCAA competition for the rest of his college career. That was it. Sad story.
Bo Jackson seems like a really good person. Watch that documentary if you haven't. It's on ESPN, and it's a series called 30 for 30. They do all kinds of sports documentaries. It's excellent. I haven't seen one that wasn't great.
Not helping the situation since 1983.
