Thread: Hand posistion makes a difference!!!!!

Default Hand posistion makes a difference!!!!!

Ok, This is gonna be very difficult for me to explain but im gonna try my best. And hopefully everyone understands lol. for YEARS my starting position would be with my hand under the ball with middle and ring finger pointed at a 10/1030 aclock (like if you laid a clock on the floor under me thats where they would be pointing)position an releasing the ball in just about the same position. Well yesterday during practice before league I wanted to try something different. I would start off in the position i explained above but now once moving to the release position I bring my arm back and instead of keeping the 10/1030 position I change to middle an ring finger at a 12 aclock position an release by turning my hand/arm to like a hand shake position. And OMG there was SOOO much difference in ball movement and hook. It was so much of a improvement that I bowled my best series ever! 256-252-276!!!! I didnt know till i added it up i was 16 pins shy of a 800 series! Got a 784. Had i of not split after the first strike in the 10th in the first game might of had it. Maybe next time. But very glad i tried something new after all this time.

Thank you! i started that leagues with a 215, but slowly I have dropped. now i'm at a 201. I thought my bowling ball was the problem this whole time when it was really just me lol. So hopefully Ill get it back to where it was now.

Thank you, Yeah i see these guys when i bowl and there releases and the crazy revs they have. Its nuts. Since changing my had position i've gone to slow revs to a pretty decent revs now. I been wanting to change it up but didnt know how or where to even begin. Truth be told I was watching a super slo-mo bowling release video on youtube and tried to copy it.

    thank you!!!!
This week not so good though. 207-175-201. Idk if there was more oil then usual or just wet spots lol but my ball was hit or miss. i would either be a great perfect shot OR it wouldnt move at all. Some times when i got the ball there would be more oil then usual on the ball. almost like it took a bath in it lol
