Hammer 3-D offset Sledgehammer

I have this ball sitting in the closet. It is new in the original box. Personal opinions on whether I should drill it or just keep it. Only one reason I haven't drilled it, since it is an older ball I don't know much about it.

Core - 3-D offset? What does that mean

Last, I don't know what to expect out of the ball.

I currently only throw urethane balls. Never any luck with the resin balls. Current lineup is a New Blue Hammer(vibe core), Seismic Desperado LE and original black hammer I use mostly for spares.

Will the sledgehammer give me anything different from what I have?

The 3-D offset is a reactive resin ball. 3-D offset refers to the core which is asymetric. In its day I think it was considered a very strong ball. Given that all your balls are urethane, I think this would give you something stronger yet still controllable. If you decide not to drill it, my teammate would love to get it for when his finally wears out.
