Friggin A. Threw 8 opens last night. Managed a 631 - 188, 234, 209. Once I missed my first 10 pin spare in the 1st frame of game one, I lost it. Of course, I also had 2 pocket 7-10s. First 2 of those ALL season. Oh well, at least I fought back again tonight and didn't give up.

Here's the scores of the OTHER team...
653, 722, 590, 746, 776. Bowled outta there heads. There 3487 scratch series beats season high by 5 pins.

Practice last night...
222, 202, 221, 204, 185, 222, 205, 201, 215, 243, 203, 234, 259 = 217 average.

League last night: dry lanes. Wasted opportunity as I usually enjoy those conditions. Crossed over 6 times and carry was tough to come by. Guys were hooking spares and missing 10 pin. I managed all 6 singles but missed 3/4 splits.

190-180-215 = 585. First series or practice session below 200 average since end of Nov 7. Now I need to start another streak.

Son's basketball tourney canceled. Threw the balls in the car and threw a quick 12 games. Baked my Marvel Pearl and Roto Grip Defiant yesterday. Light resurface of both including polishing the Defiant to see how it would react (worked very well!). Games in bold Defiant polished.

Another so-so night for me. Wasn't finding a good line the first game. Found one the second. Lost it the third!

180, 237, 177 = 594.

Threw 9 practice games after..... 268 with front 8 one of them.

First time in a while I didn't record all my games on my bowling app on my phone. I did throw 14 games averaging 203.

Top games: 259, 263, 267. Started each with 6, 7, or front 8. Very exciting to have that kind of success and a great line. Fresh oil and used my Defiant polished.

Missed league tonight so I drove over to practice after. Wow!! Lot's of fun. Threw 15 games. Focused a ton on spares and just had fun mixing things up and trying different balls and their line. Found a great line with my Marvel Pearl the final 4 games.

235, 245, 290 ... ended with 11 strikes and then 3 in the next for a new high game (289 old high) and 14 strikes streak (previous was 13). I was so pumped and in a zone it just felt easy. I actually felt out of it after the 290 and the next game I kind of lost my mojo if you know what I mean. I was so in tune the 290 game that the next game (214) I wasn't feeling my hand, speed, etc as well.

I also feel SOOO much better now about my 10 pin spares. I moved my eyes to the dots and tried to stay back a little (not so crouched over which I sometimes do as a fault) and it totally worked. Looking forward to hitting more spares now.

Excellent night of practice and fun!!

My buddy threw a 300 and a 279. I threw a 280 and 279 along with a bunch of other good scores. He about ripped my hand off high-fiving me after. Got the final frame on video on my phone.

I'm settling into a nice routine with my 10 pins. Just gotta have the confidence and stay relaxed in league.

Last ball of his 300 on Friday night. Not the first 300 I've seen but the first time a friend has thrown one or one thrown on same lanes. Was pretty cool.

Practice last night. Lots of spares and a few good games to top it off.

269 and 277. Had front 9.....pure shot but a pinch high, left a solid 4. Looked good all the way. I feel like a 300 is close.

For the week.....3 days of practice.....high games of 269, 277, 279, 280, 290. I've gone away from moving inside and just going with a little more speed and some loft. Seems to be working. Maybe I can get back on track Wed at league.
