Not what i was going for, but explain your formula... i will admit there may be other possible answers to number sequences...

34 to 58 was +24. Using "24", you use the 2 from that to subtract from 58, then the 4 to add, then you're at 60. Then repeated that again. (+24, -2, +4)

new awnser for #4 took awhile to figure out hope i'm close or right.

ok the way i did mine took time and alot of writing and thinking soo i got a pieace of paper and wrote down your numbers 34,58,56,60 so then i also wrote down in a line numbers from 1-26 for every letter in the alphabet so as you now 1=a 2=b and so on then i tryed to make words with by adding letters to get with the number with out it going over the number you gave the first one took me no time but then trying to figure out the others was harder because i was trying to make a sentence but then thought of the first one and went from there.

one= 15+14+5= 34
two= 20+23+15= 58
three= 20+8+18+5+5= 56
four= 6+15+21+18= 60
five= 6+9+22+5= 42
six= 19+9+24= 52
seven 19+5+22+5+14= 65
eight= 5+9+7+8+20= 49
nine= 14+9+14+5= 42
ten= 20+5+14= 39

don't ever make assumptions, if you don't know something for certain ask questions and test to figure it out.

Lockwood you are making me assume! Do you not understand that since you did not give me details I must come up with the rest. There is no right answer to your question because you leave the details so wide open. The answer to your question could easily be that the holes can't be dug because the men went on strike. Or Lockwood did not give enough detail about where the holes are to be dug and how deep to dig them.

I will now just argue questions for the sake of arguing because I refuse to think without all the details.
