It doesn't matter what brand name is on your ball, it is all in how the bowling equiptment works for you. I could be throwing a ball called the pink princess pony, but aslong as it reacts well for me and gets me bowling well, its all just a name.

I am definatly trying the 503t today. My buddy called me last night and told me he just installed switch grips on all his balls. That's sweet, cause I already have switch grips on mine. So now I can just slide my thumb piece in, and not worry about that. His span is slightly longer, and fingers are slioghtly smaller, but nothing drastic, so I should be able to throw it no problem.

Tried the 503t today, after I got used to the grip I liked it. I also tired his new 811c/t, and it was sick. A little too much ball for the lanes we were on, but I could see it's potential. The time will come real soon to shell out my own cash for a ball, and after throwing a few games with Tracks, I may go for a 503T.

I first heard of it because Mike Fagan uses it. Then my buddy switched to it a few months ago. He swears by it, he said a normal grip was really bothering his ring finger. By making the ring finger conventional, it took a lot of the pain away, and he can still get a good release, lots of revs. For me it was interesting, because the fingers weren't my size, but even with that, it was more comfortable than I thought it would be. Not gonna go get my balls redrilled for it yet, but if my finger starts to bother me then I'll think about it.

Been thinking about it, as much as i respect my friend, and liten to him, that doesn't mean I have to buy the same balls he does. If I want a DV8, I will buy one. I really think I want a Marauder.
