A Frantic will not be good for light conditions. I have one and it is not that much weaker than my DV8 Terror.

As far as the Frantic goes, it's a bit too strong for Medium-Dry lanes or drier. MAYBE if you drill it for length, but the Frantic is more of a medium to medium-heavy oil ball.

I have some trouble using my Frantic when the oil breaks down. Hooks too much when things start to dry out.

Good lord, does anybody actually read what's posted and see what the ball they suggest is suppose to be used for? The Misfit is not a dry lane ball nor light oil. Neither are the Frantic or Hy-Road. They are all medium to medium-heavy. Can they be used? Yes but using a ball out of where it was designed calls for big adjustments with lower pin carry and hitting power. Will a stock Mini-Cooper run a quarter-mile? Yes but not as well as a top fuel dragster. Use the right tool for the job.

Storm Natural. It's slightly stronger than the Natural Pearl. Don't disregard the urethane balls. Are they niche balls? Yes but when used correctly every ball is! Urethane will read consistently and does not soak up as much oil as reactive resin. Once you get use to it this can have many benefits. They are not big hook monsters but you can kill the same break point all day long with urethane.

Well, I guess I'm the biggest idiot of them all, right Bill. Not only did I not read the Storm part, but I suggested a Misfit. Guess I have absolutly no clue as to what I'm talking about, and shouldn't be giving advice. Maybe from now on I'll just give crap advice on every thread so Bill can correct me.

You don't do it all the time like some people do. I get so frustrated seeing it posted that "get an entry level ball like the Misfit". We all make mistakes (including me! lol). Don't take it so personal.

I went by the Med part of the post. The Misfit is listed as Med ball. So my bad that I didn't read the Storm part, and if I suggested a ball on the Med side, instead of Med Dry side. Honestly, if you go urathane with the arsenal you have now, there would be a huge gap between the Marauder and a Urathane ball. I won't suggest a ball that would be weaker than the marauder, but stronger than urathane cause I clearly have no idea what I am talking about, but you can figure it out.

I see it too and I'm left wondering, "Wtf? That ball seems pretty inappropriate for what was asked."

I'm getting a Tropical Breeze that should be here in a couple weeks. Gonna have it drilled for length and that'll do really well for a dry/light oil ball.

Ok, First thank you bill, as usual you made a lot of sense. second, i have to apologize for part of the confusion, the word "medium" probably shouldn't have been used.

Regarding Urethane, the Natural looks interesting, looking back, the rotogrip grenade looks like the exact same ball lol I have a bit more research to do before dismissing anything. Thanks guys
