Default Medium to Medium Dry Ball

    Hey guys,

So its official, my parents are going to get me a plastic ball for Christmas now, this leaves one sizable hole in my arsenal still:

    Plastic Ball ________ Marauder NeXXXus

but what to fill it with? well, i would like to try out either a Storm or Roto grip ball but which one? I have heard good things about the HyRoad, then there's the Tropical heat, Riot, Dark Star, and Rising Star.

What does everyone think? don't limit yourself to the balls i listed, but i would like to stick with storm for this ball. (try something new)

I have been eyeballing this....Hammer Nail Smoke and Fire

I love the color pattern and seems like it would be a good dry lane ball. I was thinking it would be a good step down from my DV8 Terror and Storm Frantic and I could probably use it for spares easier than either of my other ball.

But.....Zothen pointed out to me in another thread that it is probably still going to be too much ball for dryer conditions so someone like a Blue Hammer Urethane or Brunswick Karma urethane is probably more practical. I am thinking his advice sounds pretty solid.

I was thinking of urethane, but it is a lot more of a niche ball, and when the lanes are that dry i could survive with the plastic ball for now. The Smoke and fire is interesting, it is a fair bit weaker than anything i was looking at.... it seems to fit right between urethane and what i'm looking for lol.

I'm not afraid to move left and throw coast to coast, so i think having the gap between plastic and med to dry is not the biggest deal. but plastic to marauder is a little much lol

If you want to stay DV8/Brunswick, then you should go Misfit. Get the green slime one, it looks cool.

If you need an air freshener or its little brother ....go tropical breeze or Roto just came out with the Wrecker too. Both would fit the bill.

A Tropical Breeze, Tropical Heat. You could even go with a Manic or a Frantic. The Hyroad will work too.
