Heard the Frantic dies out once it reaches maybe 50-70 games?

I have had my Frantic since October and it has 75+ games and it seems fine to me. Only maintenance I have done is clean it after each series.

I bet a lot of balls die out after 50-75 games unless they are taken care of correctly. Ball maintenance is probably one of the most neglected areas of people's games. People think I am crazy as much as I clean mine.

How many times have you heard someone complain about the ball not hooking and them saying I am doing everything correctly? A guy on my team is like this, never cleans it when he is done. All of a sudden he took it to the pro shop and they did a "rejuvenate" on it and wow hook is magically back. But again doesn't ever clean after he is done bowling. With a little cleaning after a series the desired hook will last a lot longer.

Yeah, I think it is important to clean the ball after each session. The sooner the better too. I am sure the longer they sit with oil on them, the more it would soak in.

Maybe if you don't take care of it. I try to clean it after every session and I never have a problem. Hell, I was probably at like 150 games when I finally took it to a pro shop for a deep cleaning. And even to the day I brought it in, I had plenty of hook in my ball. Shoot, I went almost two weeks without cleaning my Frantic and it still had tons of hook left.

The Frantic definitely soaks up a lot of oil so I could see how it'd die out after 50-70 games...if you never clean it or wipe it off. Which is the problem I've noticed with most people complaining about a ball dying. They don't take care of it.

threw 222, 223, 255 = 700!!! great ball first series out of bag.

weird thing is my spare ball came back from return without thumb!! I had to use slug that wasn't right fit. oh well, seemed to work.
