My wife keeps threatning me, she says she is going to start bowling seriously and kick my but. With her being pregnant now, she will have to put that plan on hold. She can bowl a few games here or there, but she can't dedicate the time needed to beat me.

Given that this ball is quite close the the taboo purple i wouldn't recommend that...

if you get the diva, next ball should be a spare ball, then something with a weak hook for when the diva is to much maybe a slingshot purple or a the karma.

hmm... doesn't mean to pick a spare you'll need a spare ball... to say the truth.. i seldom use my spare ball now to even pick pin 10s... i'm just not lofting, rotating my main ball which is either the Storm's SureFire or Brunswick NeXXus. Seldom i use the DV8 Hell Raiser Revenge as it overhooks way too much in the late part of the games... so.. yup.. not really needed for a spare ball.. just my 2cents though.. sorry for being a noob in bowling

i don't mind throwing the Diva too.. well... anything that can goes on the lanes... Bill, enlighten me. which would be better? Misfit or Misfit Pearl.

Like I said, the Diva clearly marketed towards the women/girls, but still will be a great ball for anyone.

I should get that Diva ball for myself in a 14 pounder. You know us seniors are delicate like the ladies so it fits the bill. Hey, if it can get me good games I don't care who it is made for. I could get along with some ribbing from my teammates anyway. I am sure that they would take advantage of it too.

Throwing a pink ball wouldn't bother me especially if it works. You can always go with the "cancer awareness" angle or always have the "you just got beat by a guy using a pink ball!
Either way looks don't matter to me, I would rather have a multicolored ball so you can see some of the reaction of how the ball is rolling easier.

I told my wife that they have a ball called the Diva and it was pink, she said she wanted it without even seeing it. She may get it........ I just want her to get a new ball soon.

all my balls have pink finger inserts and we wear pink bowling shirts, so I wouldn't have any issue throwing the diva.
