The Bowling Dork!

As every bowler who takes the sport seriously knows, there is a lot of rude, selfish, loud, and boorish behavior at the lanes. Whether it’s people who don’t know good bowling etiquette, or just don’t care about others, a few people can ruin a good time for the majority.

Please feel free to add stories to or comment as often as you like, but no real names, please, in order to protect the guilty.

THE BOWLING DORK

in the lane next to you, the dork doesn’t wait until you throw your ball before they rush up and throw their ball.
the dork puts so much powder on their equipment that it spills all over the approach to your lane.
the dork is yelling to a buddy or laughing loudly during your approach and release.
the dork is getting loudly and sloppily drunk.
the dork smokes outside between games and comes back smelling like a forest fire.
the dork doesn’t ROLL their ball down the lane, the dork THROWS it, and it sounds like a bomb exploded on their lane every time they bowl.
the dork ducks out into the parking lot after every other frame and comes back smelling like they were in a Cheech and Chong movie.
the dork brings their drink into the bowling area and spills it all over the floor
the dork is ordering food 150 feet away when it’s his turn to bowl.
the dork gets so drunk that he wears the house bowling shoes home.
