First off welcome back.
Yeah those shoe covers/booties will get you every time if
you forget to take them off before getting on the approach.
As you guys' may have seen, I haven't been around..or maybe I don't cause enough of a disturbance to be noticed..*shrugs*..anyway, it's because I've spent the free time I've had..bowling. I've been working on my form, trying to come through the ball more at the end of my swing, and it's been a rough process working on it.
I also just recently bought a set of booties for my bowling shoes (well, let's face it, only for my left shoe unless I go outside), and last night I forgot to take it off, no one saw it and I about fell on my face in the eigth frame of a very solid game. I fouled and got and eight count out of frustration towards myself, the next frame I guess I was scared of sliding, didn't put as much on it and left a split in the ninth. In the last frames I struck out and finished with a 214 though..so, I did try to turn it around..

welcome back!
I did same thing and fell over foul line and got a strike. The other team cried foul and were pissed when told that the strike counted as I didn't set the foul light/buzzer off. Now I make sure I remove the booty before I bowl!

Welcome back. There's a guy in my league that always forgets to take off his shoe protectors. Were constantly pointing at his feet, then he rolls his eyes cause he knows what he did.

Sinister is the only way to live.
Forgetting to remove mine is why I don't bother putting them on any more. It's just as easy to slip my sneaker on.

Glad to see you're back after working on your game. Does this mean you'll be gone for a while now to re-train yourself on how to remove the shoe protectors before bowling? LOL I've gone home more than once wearing my bowling shoes, and walked in the house with my wife laughing at me !! We all have done some crazy things.

Thanks everyone! My team made a sign and put it on the score keeping console to remind me and make me laugh. Yeah, I'm really starting to notice a change in the way I'm playing from a couple of months ago to now. And it feels like, when I get into a rhythm with this form, that I can do some real damage on the lanes.
