Best ball versatility wise on the market and has been for years. The DV8 Misfit Pearl would work well from half way through the second game through the third. The final for the arsenal....plastic ball. When you're ready for a fourth ball, get a Storm Natural Pearl. It's urethane and will come in handy on drier lanes or when you start sport patterns and have short oil patterns to play.
I myself am looking to build a new arsenal for my 2 finger delivery, as I am dropping to 14#'s and everything I have is 15. I am probably going Hy-Road or Rising Star . Defiantly picking up a Urethane ball , and probably a Roto Grip Shout in the middle. I'm waiting to see the perfect scale numbers on the new balls, the Disturbed, and Wrecker. Disturbed will probably be too much, but the Wrecker may fit in nicely.

I think every bowler should have a Hy-Road. Great benchmark ball. Urethane allows players with revs (any style) to play drier or shorter patterns with ease.
My next ball will be 14 lbs. If I don't like it then I will just donate it to the youth league kids.

Funny how Rocco recomended the Road series of balls, but he sold his Fire Road.

I am going to 14 because without my thumb, it's easier to hold on to, and to throw. I found myself bowling a tournament yesterday, wishing my 607A was 14#s. My spare ball is 14#s, and I am very accurate with it. It will also save my wrist from the wear and tear of bowling a lot of games without my thumb. You may have talked me into a Hy-Road. I know your opinion on Storm, so if your recommending a Hy-Road, you must really love it. Sinister, I liked the Fire Road, but I have 2 similar balls in the bag already, and that ball was newer, so worth more, and I hated the smell.

Thank you so much for all the input! I'm definitely leaning towards the DV8 line right now. I'm going to start bowling in the DV8 Misfit Social League and they give you a free Misfit so I figured that’s a good place to start. I'm ultimately looking for 2 balls, one that can handle all lane conditions and be smooth through the front and back and be more predictable and a ball that will be smooth in the front and hard in the backend. Would the Misfit and the too reckless be a good combo?

I've only bowled one day with my misfit, and I'm a total noob.. BUT, through my research and asking around (proshop/forums), the Misfit is a really great ball. And it looks like the misfit pearl will be even better.

    And the green looks awesome.

I can't find any info on the misfit club at my house, though the website says it's offered there. Did your house have any flyers on it?

Yeah they had some flyers. Glad you like your Misfit. I'm glad I came on this board and asked around I would have never thought to look into the DV8 line.

    Their marketing is enthralling.

Here's a video if you haven't seen it:

Haven't seen that! But I agree the way they market their product is amazing. Really appeals to the younger crowd and being 24 I can tell you it’s working! I can’t wait to pick out a nice DV8 arsenal and start taking my bowling game to the next level. Now just to pick a ball!!
