    Default The Importance of Timing

One thing my coach noticed was how my timing always seems to be off. We've tried a couple different things that have helped, but it's just been a little off no matter what. Today, we figured it out. My fourth and fifth steps I step higher than a normal step. I kept a mental note to take normal steps and holy crap, it all came together. My good shots turned great and my okay shots became good. Everything just clicks now and it removes me from throwing across my body. I LOVE it! It also keeps me lower to the ground and helps with my balance.

Awesome! I know when timing is off, shots go left and right for me. Something small but has big effects on the game.

Higher? That's a new one but at least the two of you figured it out. Glad to see you seem to have a good coach and he/she has a willing to learn student.
