    Default Clear Turbo Finger Grips

I was in my pro shop last night and my driller recommended I change my inserts to the clear version because they have a softer feel. I felt that they definitely are squishier but I wanted to know if anyone uses them and what their experience with them is. He told me they don't wear out as quick but then also said that he doesn't use grips anymore so he has no experience with them. I just need some feedback before I decide to get them.

I actually just ordered a pair last night. I used them before, and I liked them a lot. They are a little bit softer. I will be putting them in every ball from now on.

My driller also recommended the clear grips because they have a softer feel.
I think the amount of lift you impart on the ball, as opposed to letting the ball roll off your fingers, determines how long your grips will last.
I have used both the clear and colored grips, they feel the same to me.

I was trying to remember who made the softer ones so thank you! I want to try them. I tend to use a lot of lift and hope these will help with the callouses on my finger tips.

Vice makes silicone grips, which are supposed to be really soft, but I can't find a place to buy them. Turbo makes grips they say are soft, but I tried them and they are not that soft. The clear, "Ice" grips are the softest I've felt so far.

Any place that carries Vise products can order them. I don't know why they aren't more popular, maybe due to people not knowing they exists.

I can't find them online anywhere, and I hate going to a pro shop for grips. I can buy them for $5 online, but it costs almost $15 in the shops around here.

With a quick google search I found the silicone grips but only in bags of 10. Looks like they don't make a ton of sizes of them either.

I used to use those silicone grips back in the early 90's the ones
I used had to be glued in with a silicone glue and they had little
    tiny nubs in them.

They were a super soft kind and would wear out in no time at all
but it could have been all the revs I put on the ball back then too
so I just quit using finger grips back then.

They are available at bowlingball.com for $3.99 each with free shipping and no minimums. They are called "Ice" that may be why you cannot locate the clear. The Ice are the clear. Hope this helps.
