    Arrow I need your input...

I need someone to look at my arsenal (you can see it in my signature below) and make a recommendation for a new ball. I know where the holes are in my arsenal, but I do not want to say what I think they are here as I do not want to influence your input. Your help here would be highly appreciated..

Assuming all balls have the same layout (comparing apples to apples) i see 1 maybe 2 holes, an dry ball such as urethane, and less so a ball between the hook and the crossroads.....

I would say get a Urethane ball like the RG Grenade or Storm Natural/Natural Pearl

    You have a lot of heavy oil balls(Crit theroy,Defiant,Vivid & Lucid). I would recommend a Shout(light oil)and Slingshot(Dry).

Lots of solids, I would suggest a pearl. The IQ Tour Pearl should fit in nicely. A strong hybrid like the Defiant Soul could be a nice compliment. Having something weaker like a Misfit would be a good idea as well.

I would recommend getting two new ones. A weaker ball and a pearl.

    Misfit pearl? LOL

Misfit isn't all that weak, his Hook is weaker. I never did check the pearl/solid aspect.... a pearl would definitely be good (NeXXXus is Awesome) i still think you should get a urethane ball though

Defiant Soul and a Marauder. Being a tweener with your rev rate and speed I think the Marauder would work better for you than the Misfit. Or just go with a Natural Pearl and adjust with the Soul to cover that gap.

Cool. Thanks for the input fellas. Isee in your comments a need for a weaker ball. I was thinking a high RG, lower differential ball and your comment seem to point that way as well. I really want a Defiant Soul like some of you suggested, but I needed a weaker ball as well so I picked up a Roto Grip Wrecker. Mynext acquisition will be the Defiant Soul, God willing...

BTW, I do have a Coumbia UC2 Urethane in my closet as well. The problem is that it is a 16 pounder. I also need to get the thumb re-drilled. Do you think using a 16 will throw me off since I have been using 15's exclusively??

I don't think it will bother you. I throw a 14 lbs spare ball (when I bring it) and 15 & 16 lbs balls. So on a given night I could use 15 lbs on one side, 16 lbs on the other and a 14 lbs for spares., If I can do it, I know you can do it.
